# Starting Path Type

To change this setting, follow the steps below:

1. Open **Settings** by tapping on the cog icon in the right upper corner.
2. Tap on **Measuring Options.**
3. Tap on **Starting Path Type** and select the Path Type you wish to be selected by default.
