# Master Rotation As Moasure uses motion sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, care should be taken when rotating the device. Whenever you need to rotate the device so that the [reference point](/en/moasure/understand-reference-point.md) is aligned to your required orientation, you should rotate the device gradually – not suddenly. As with sudden impacts or collisions, abrupt rotations negatively impact the device's sensors which in turn compromises measurement accuracy.
