Turn Device On and Off

Learn how to turn your device on and off.
Moasure supports two turn-on methods. A legacy Double-Tap method that requires a double tap on Moasure ONE to turn on and a new Rotate method that enables turning on the device by holding it vertically and rotating it 180 degrees and back. The rotate-to-turn-on feature is only available on firmware versions from v1.28 upwards. The firmware update is being rolled out to users globally. Once it's available to you, you will receive a notification through the Moasure PRO app, asking you to upgrade. Turn on Moasure ONE by Double Tapping

To Turn on Moasure ONE, simply follow these steps:
  1. 1.
    Place the device in the palm of your hand
  2. 2.
    Using your fingertip, double-tap the face of the device to turn it on
If you double tap your Moasure ONE too fast or too slow, you may find that it doesn't turn on. Take your time and practice – adjust the speed and force of your taps.

Turn off Moasure ONE

By default, Moasure ONE automatically switches itself off after 60 seconds of inactivity. However, you can adjust the device's disconnection time by following these steps:
  1. 1.
    Go to Settings within the Moasure PRO app (tap the cog in the top-right corner of the app)
  2. 2.
    Tap on Measuring Options
  3. 3.
    Scroll down until you see Moasure Device Disconnection where you will be able to set how long you would like the Moasure ONE device to stay awake. You can choose from 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes and 5 minutes

Double-Tap Sensitivity

If you would like to change your Moasure ONE's double-tap sensitivity, please follow these steps:
  1. 1.
    Go to Settings within the Moasure PRO app (tap the cog in the top-right corner of the app)
  2. 2.
    Go to Account & Device Management and tap on Select Device
  3. 3.
    Tap the Information icon for your listed device
  4. 4.
    Turn on your Moasure ONE so that the Moasure PRO app can connect to the device
  5. 5.
    Tap on Double-Tap Sensitivity and choose between the following settings; Low (harder tap), Medium, High (softer tap)

Turn on Moasure ONE when using Moasure STICK

When using Moasure STICK, you can turn on Moasure ONE without removing the device from the foam-lined enclosure:
  1. 1.
    Place the STICK down on a solid, flat surface
  2. 2.
    Double tap the sharp edge of Moasure ONE (where the LED indicator is located)

Turn on Moasure ONE by Rotating

To Turn on Moasure ONE, simply follow these steps:
  1. 1.
    Pick up your Moasure ONE and hold it up in vertical orientation.
  2. 2.
    Rotate it 180° to the right.
  3. 3.
    Rotate it 180° to the left
  4. 4.
    The device will turn on.
