Understanding how time affects your measurement is key to achieving accurate results with a Moasure device.

How Time Affects Accuracy

Moasure devices measure continuously while you move, capturing data hundreds of times per second.

Accuracy is confirmed when the device is placed completely still.

Error increases with time, not distance.

This means:

• The longer you move without pausing, the more error can build

• Regular pauses help to maintain accuracy

Measurement Modes (Moasure 2 PRO)

You can choose between two measurement modes depending on your priority:

Highest Accuracy (6–8 seconds)

• Pause every 6–8 seconds

• Always pause in the green zone (no later than amber)

• Best for achieving the most accurate results

Longest Time (12–16 seconds)

• Pause every 12–16 seconds

• Always pause in the green zone (no later than amber)

• Allows longer movement between points

• Results in reduced accuracy compared to Highest Accuracy

Maximising Measurement Accuracy

For the best results, focus on these three key techniques:

Pace Walk at a steady, controlled pace between pause points while measuring.

Placement Place the device down quickly and gently, without hovering.

Rotation Rotate the device smoothly, avoiding sudden or abrupt movements.

Changing Measuring Time / Accuracy

To change your measuring mode:

1. Tap the cog icon in the bottom-right corner of the app

2. Tap Measuring Options

3. Tap Measuring Time

4. Select your preferred mode
