View and Label Measured Points

While measuring with LX1, you can capture pause points at different heights around the room. These points can later be viewed using Points of Interest (POI).

For example, if you want to record the position and height of a light switch, you can place LX1 at that position during your measurement and capture a point.

Once you've completed your floor plan, POI allows you to view the individual points captured during the measurement. Select a point to see its height relative to the floor level, and add a label to identify what it represents.

This can be useful for recording the position and height of light switches, electrical sockets or other important points around the property.

View Your Measured Points

With your floor plan open:

1. Tap POI

2. The points captured during your measurement are displayed on the floor plan

3. Tap the point you want to view

The selected point is highlighted and its height relative to the floor level is displayed.

You can also use the left and right arrows to move between captured points.

Add a Label

To identify a selected point:

1. Select the required point

2. Tap Add Label

3. Enter a name for the point — for example, Light Switch

4. Tap Apply

The label is then displayed against the selected point on your floor plan.

You can select the labelled point again if you need to edit the label.

Save Your Changes

After adding or editing your Points of Interest, remember to save your changes.

Tap File, then choose the appropriate save option:

• Save – updates your existing floor plan with the changes you’ve made.

• Save As – saves a new copy, leaving the original floor plan unchanged.

If you leave the floor plan without saving your changes, the app will prompt you to Save Changes, so you have another opportunity to save your updates before exiting.

Choosing Points While Measuring

POI uses the points that were captured during your original measurement.

If there is a particular position you know you will want to identify later, such as the position and height of a light switch, capture a pause point at that position while measuring.

After completing the measurement, use POI to select that point, view its recorded height and add a label.
