# Adjust Exterior Wall Thickness

Use the **Exterior Wall Thickness** tool to change how thick exterior walls appear in the floor plan.

This setting adjusts the **display thickness** of exterior walls and can help improve the clarity of the layout when reviewing or exporting a floor plan.

### To adjust exterior wall thickness

1. Open your saved floor plan.
2. Tap **Edit** in the bottom toolbar.
3. Tap **Exterior Wall Thickness**.
4. Select the unit (**Metres** or **Feet**).
5. Enter the desired wall thickness.
6. Tap **Save**.

The updated thickness will be applied to all exterior walls.

### Note

If an unsupported value is entered, the app will display the acceptable thickness range.
