# Measuring Units

The **Measuring Units** setting allows you to choose which unit system the Moasure app uses when displaying measurements.

You can switch between **Metric** and **Imperial** units depending on your preferred working system or regional standards.

Changing the unit system updates how measurements are displayed throughout the app, including floorplans, dimensions and exported files.

***

### Available Unit Systems

**Metric**\
Measurements are displayed using metric units such as **millimetres, centimetres and metres**.

**Imperial**\
Measurements are displayed using imperial units such as **inches and feet**.

***

### How to Change Measuring Units

1. Tap the **Settings** icon in the bottom-right corner of the app.
2. Tap **Measuring Units**.
3. Select your preferred unit system.

Your chosen units will update immediately across the app.
