# Delete Account

Use this option only if you want to permanently remove your Moasure account.

Deleting your account is **final** — you will not be able to use LX1 or any Moasure device without creating a new account.

***

### **What We Store**

* **Account details:** your name and email address
* **Measurements & images:** stored **locally on your device**, not on Moasure servers unless you export or choose cloud backups
* **Analytics (optional):** anonymised diagnostic data, controlled via the analytics toggle

***

### **How to Delete Your Account**

1. Tap the **Settings** icon (bottom right).
2. Tap **Account Management**.
3. Tap **Delete Account**.
4. Enter your password and confirm by tapping **Delete**.

***

### **What Happens Next**

* Your Moasure account is permanently closed.
* You are signed out on all devices.
* Your personal account information is removed from Moasure’s active systems.
* Minimal records may remain only where legally required (e.g., security logs, financial records).
* Local measurements stored on your device remain — delete them manually if no longer needed.
* To use LX1 again, you’ll need to create a new Moasure account.

If you're having trouble with the above, you can contact us at <support@moasure.com> with your data deletion request and we'll delete your account for you.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.moasure.com/en/moasure-lx1/settings/account-management/delete-account.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
