# Remove Device

Remove a Moasure device from your account.

Removing a device from your account does **not** delete measurements stored on your phone or tablet. The device can be added again later if required.

### Method A – From the Device list

1. Open **Settings** by tapping the cog icon in the bottom-right corner.
2. Tap **Account & Device Management**, then **Device**.
3. Tap the **Info** button beside the device.
4. Tap **Delete Device** and confirm by tapping **Yes**.

### Method B – From Device Preferences

1. Open **Settings**.
2. Tap **Account & Device Management**.
3. Tap **Device Preferences**.
4. Tap **Delete Device** and confirm by tapping **Yes**.

**Important:** Removing a device disconnects it from your account but does not delete measurements stored on your phone or tablet.
{% endhint %}
